Giovanna is a founding partner of Avantea. She graduated from the faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Milan and, after surgical training, she completed her postgraduate studies in Cambridge (UK) in the field of animal reproduction.
Back in Italy, she concentrated her professional activity and research on assisted reproduction techniques, obtaining numerous grants in collaboration with European universities and veterinary clinics. She was President of the Italian Society for Embryo Transfer (1999-2002) and the European Association of Embryo Technologies (2007-2008).
At Avantea, she guides the assisted reproduction laboratory's activities through a continuous improvement process and coordinates services for clients. Giovanna is the author of numerous scientific publications in international journals and frequently speaks at International conferences on in vitro embryo production across a variety of species.
