In Vitro Equinos
Silver SponsorAbout Us
In Vitro Equinos company headquarters are located in Mogi Mirim, the estate of São Paulo, Brazil. Founded in 2005 as In Vitro Brasil Clonagem Animal, offering cloning services for bovine and equine animals. In 2012, the first equine clone produced in Brazil was born — the Mangalarga stallion Turbante JO. Research into ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) for the equine market began in 2011, and our first filly produced by ICSI in Brazil was born in 2012, from post-death ovary aspiration.
In 2018, In Vitro Equinos Ltda. consolidated ICSI commercially. The company was renamed In Vitro Equinos Ltda. in 2021, working exclusively with horses and offering in in vitro fertilization through ICSI, cloning, and genetic preservation (tissue bank).
For years, In Vitro Equinos has been a pioneer and leader in ICSI, cloning, and genetic preservation, operating in Brazil, Argentina, Qatar, and the United States.
In Vitro Equinos joins the Equine Care Group – another important step for global equine reproduction.
For years, In Vitro Equinos has been a pioneer and leader in ICSI, cloning, and genetic preservation, operating in Brazil, Argentina, Qatar, and the United States. With innovation at the core of our mission, we have always sought to deliver the highest standards of reproductive biotechnology for the benefit of horses and breeders around the world. We are proud to share a significant milestone in the evolution of In Vitro Equinos: we are officially joining forces with the Equine Care Group (ECG) — one of the most advanced veterinary networks in the world, dedicated to equine health.
Now, as part of the ECG family, we confidently step into a new era.
ECG brings together world-class veterinarians, hospitals, laboratories, nutrition specialists, and equine professionals across multiple continents. This partnership will not only enable us to grow in Europe, but also expand our reach in North America, the Middle East, Australia, and beyond — supported by a global infrastructure founded on quality, ethics, and innovation.
In Vitro BE — coming to Europe
As part of this evolution, In Vitro Equinos is expanding its operations to Belgium, in the heart of one of the world's most influential sport horse breeding regions. In Vitro BE is currently in development, bringing our reproductive biotechnology expertise directly to European breeders, as a global company operating locally, integrated within the ECG ecosystem.
Together, our goal is not only to advance the field of reproduction, but to contribute to the future of equine medicine through research, collaboration, and the open sharing of knowledge — around the world, for more and better horses.
We are honored to be part of this transformative movement and believe the future is bright — not just for the In Vitro Equinos team, but for equine health worldwide.
