Bronze SponsorIn vitro production of equine embryos: We offer in vitro production of equine embryos from oocytes collected by Ovum Pick Up (OPU) from valuable mares. The oocytes are sent to us, and we perform Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) and In Vitro Culture (IVC) of the embryos for nine days under strictly controlled laboratory conditions. Once the embryos have reached the blastocyst stage, we vitrify them or hand them over for fresh transfer. Vitrified embryos can be safely stored for long periods of time.
Vitrification of equine embryos: Equine embryos collected by uterine flushing are often too large to be cryopreserved with success. The embryos can be shipped to our laboratory, where we can reduce the size of the embryos by removing the fluid from the blastocoele cavity before vitrification. The vitrified embryos are then sent back to the owner for transfer or can be safely stored for long periods of time.
Courses: Join our hands-on training courses in Assisted Reproductive Technologies, including techniques such as In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), and vitrification. For more information contact us.
