In the 1990s, Jacques Maupiler was working in the rubber industry, specializing in conveyor belts. His expertise led him one day to the broodmare barn at Haras du Pin, where he was asked to install a rubber surface. Once the job was completed, an idea naturally emerged: why not apply this material—more flexible and durable than leather or PVC—to breeding dummies used in national stud stations?

The idea quickly took shape. Soon, requests followed: a stable door, then another piece of equipment, and then more. Founded in 1993, the company gradually discovered its true vocation: designing and manufacturing bespoke equipment with one clear priority—improving the welfare and safety of horses.

A visionary entrepreneur, Jacques Maupiler understood early on that the key to success was listening to clients’ needs. His motto became his signature: every problem has its solution. Driven by a deep love for horses, he turned every constraint into a source of creativity.

In 2021, Jacques passed the reins of the company to his two sons, César and Clovis Maupiler, entrusting them with the mission of continuing his vision—particularly his dream of creating a stopover dedicated to equestrian trekking.

Today, at the helm of TECHNIBELT, they are committed to carrying this family adventure forward, preserving the company’s spirit, human values, and close relationship with its clients. Their guiding principle is kindness, reflected in attentive service and tailored support.
