Since 1997, Spervital has been the specialist in extenders for the equine market, based in the Netherlands. In our own laboratory, we produce various extenders for processing and/or shipping both fresh and frozen semen. Consequently, we have a suitable extender (semen preservation medium) for every stallion and application. In addition to our own brand, we sell extenders from other manufacturers, such as Botupharma and Minitüb. Our extenders are produced with great care in our laboratory; they are then frozen to -80°C and undergo quality testing by an external laboratory. Spervital extenders have contributed to the birth of thousands of foals worldwide. We currently supply customers in no fewer than 26 countries.

Beyond producing extenders, we supply equipment and materials for semen collection, artificial insemination, embryo transfer, and OPU/ICSI. Our product range includes insemination pipettes and artificial vaginas, as well as equipment such as centrifuges, freezing machines, incubators, dry shippers, and nitrogen tanks. For our extenders we have 2 distributors, ERS Sales from Whitchurch in Great Brittain and in Finland we have stallion station Helasuo who sells our products within Finland, Estland, Letland and Lithuania.
