Laurent Mangold, DVM, CEAV, is an equine veterinarian and partner at the Clinique Équine d’Argonay in Haute-Savoie, France. A graduate of the National Veterinary School of Toulouse, he holds a CEAV in Equine Medicine and Surgery and is qualified as head of an equine artificial insemination and embryo transfer center.
Laurent has developed a broad equine practice combining reproduction with general equine medicine, orthopedics and surgery, while maintaining a particular interest in equine gynecology and reproductive management. His clinical work in reproduction includes mare management, artificial insemination, semen evaluation, fertility problems and embryo transfer.
He is closely involved in continuing education and professional veterinary organizations in France and currently chairs the Breeding, Reproduction and Genetics Commission of the French Equine Veterinary Association (AVEF). An experienced field practitioner and enthusiastic teacher, Laurent is particularly known for his practical approach to equine reproduction and for translating reproductive physiology into straightforward solutions for everyday clinical practice.
